Being a Privateer is a life long decision and is not something to take lightly. You must hold
yourself and your brothers to a code, to a standard that is very strict. These standards are
the very core of our strength. Privateers MC is a fraternity of brothers. In order to become a
full patch member you must first be a hang around. During this time the members of the club
will have an opportunity to feel you out, get to know you and make a decision about your
attitude, private life and the over all way you conduct yourself. After you have been a hang
around the next step will be sponsorship by a full patch member, in good standing, to
become a prospect. There is no time line for how long you will be a hang around or
prospect. As a prospect you will show the rest of the club where your loyalty is. At every
turn your attitude, inner strength, dedication, loyalty and belief in the cause will be tested,
retested and at times pushed to what you will think is your limit. After a 100% vote by the
membership on your behalf you will become a patch member. Becoming a patch member is
only the beginning of your life as a Privateer. The fallowing is part of the rules and bi-laws
the Privateers were founded on, they are strictly enforced, this is not the entire set of bi-
laws.....................the word member refers to a Prospect or Patch of the club.

  1. All members will live by the code at all times.
  2. If you are incarcerated you are no good to the club, think before you act.
  3. Use your head before your fists.
  4. No member will use any illegal substance. Drug use will result in a violent action
    towards the member or prospect by the rest of the club.
  5. No member will be involved at any time with trafficking, setting up to be trafficked,
    aiding in the trafficking or by word of mouth help others to purchase or traffic any
    drug. If any member breaks this rule in anyway, you will lose your colors and get the
    literal fuck beat out of you.
  6. No member will ever become physical,disrespectful or violent with another member.
    No member will talk shit or bad mouth another member or the club at any time.
  7. No member will disrespect another clubs colors or membership.
  8. No member will engage in activities that will put the club as a whole in bad standing
    with the public.
  9. All rides for civic support, IE toy runs, cancer runs etc. Are 100% mandatory. This does
    not pertain to Nomads who are away from the area of the ride.
  10. Any one who wares a Nomad rocker will conduct themselves as an agent of the club
    and at no time will attempt to set up chapters, recruit or claim territory. The Nomad
    rocker will be worn on the front of the vest and the Caribbean rocker will be worn as
    usual on the back of the vest. Nomads will not engage with other clubs with out first
    contacting a flag member of the Privateers and setting up a talk between that club and
    the flag. A patch member in good standing who does not live around the club or who
    for what ever reason must be on the road may be approved by the club to wear the
    NOMAD rocker.
  11. All members will keep their bikes and/or boats in good working order at all times, as
    well as keeping their vehicles up to date with correct licensing and/or US Coast Guard
    Inspection ready.
  12. If confronted by the police all members will comply with the officers orders, give proper
    identification, refuse to answer any questions other than name and date of birth and if
    arrested or detained, the member will use his phone call to notify the club and wait for
    an attorney. No member shall engage the police in a negative manner or give the police
    any reason to engage them.  
  13. Members will not talk about club business with any one outside the club membership.
  14. No club member will drink and drive,
  15. No club member will hit on or have sex with another club members girl, unless it has
    been ok'ed by the club member she belongs to.
